Jens Hausmann


From 1987 to 1990, he worked as studio assistant to a berliner sculptor. Next, he worked as a graphic designer and illustrator. From 1994 to 1996, he studied sculpture at Dresden Academy of Fine Arts (Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden). Between the years of 1997 and 2001, he studied painting with Prof. Ralf Kerbach also at Dresden. He now works as a free curator, holding at least two collective exhibitions each year, encompassing various supports such as painting, sculpture and photography. His work has a retrospective characteristic, focusing on classic european modernism, specially related to the modern architecture: Bauhaus, International Style and Brutalism.
